A new tribute to Lance will be installed at the Air Force Academy on November 6, 2015.  The Class of ’65, Lance’s graduating class, has raised $1M for a bronze statue depicting Lance in the jungles of Laos as he struggles to survive.

His dedication to the values in the Code of Conduct are highlighted as they are etched in 3” glass behind the life sized bronze of Lance.  The statue will be postured to give all who visit an opportunity to feel the strength of Lance as it overlooks the valley directly across from Sijan Hall.  Over 500 dignitaries as well as family and friends will gather at the foot of the Rockies to reflect upon the values Lance continues to exemplify in the life he lived.
