New location for F4C Phantom Jet Dedicated to Capt. Lance Sijan

Milwaukee County Executive’s Office and Mitchell International Airport have approved a new location for the F4C Phantom Jet dedicated to Capt. Lance Sijan.  It currently sits on the south end of the airport on College Ave where the 440th Air Force Reserve once occupied space. Lance Sijan Tribute Installed at the Air Force Academy

A new tribute to Lance will be installed at the Air Force Academy on November 6, 2015.  The Class of ’65, Lance’s graduating class, has raised $1M for a bronze statue depicting Lance in the jungles of Laos as he struggles to survive.
